Best Things to Do in Nashville in June (Updated for 2025)

Nashville is busier than ever in June. It might be a cliche to say that there’s something for everyone, but that really is true in Nashville during this month.
You probably won’t be surprised to learn that there are tons of music events happening in June–from CMA Fest to Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman. Nashville is also hosting lots of sports events, entertainment, and several festivals. I’ve made sure to include a few of my favorite smaller events, too.
If you’re looking for even more to do, make sure to read my full guide to Nashville as well!
June Events in Nashville

CMA Fest
2025 Event Dates: June 5 – 8
CMA Fest is the ultimate experience for Country music fans. The festival has stages across the city featuring everyone from up-and-coming artists to some of the biggest names in the genre. There are literally hundreds of artists in the lineups.
Some of the shows are free while others require paid tickets. Many of the daytime shows tend to be free. Paid admission is required for Fan Fair X, which takes place inside Music City Center and features performances, interviews, and more.
FIFA Club World Cup
2025 Event Dates: June 20, 24, 26
Nashville’s GEODIS Park was one of the stadiums chosen to host matches for the FIFA Club World Cup. Three matches will take place in Nashville: TBD vs. Esperance Sportive de Tunisie (EST) on June 20, Auckland City FC (AKL) vs. CA Boca Juniors (BOC), and Al Hilal (HIL) vs. CF Pachuca (PAC) on June 26.
Full Moon Pickin Party
2025 Event Dates: June 13
The Full Moon Pickin’ Party is a bluegrass music series that takes place once each month from May until September. The event is held in Percy Warner Park, and proceeds go to the Friends of Warner Parks which preserves and protects the parks.
The May lineup includes Backroads Grass, Grassroads Bluegrass Band, and Adam and Amy Pope. Food truck vendors will be on-site, and outside food is allowed as well (although outside alcohol is not allowed).
Admission is $25 per person.

Musicians Corner
2025 Event Dates: June 6, 7, 13, 14
The 2025 spring series of Musicians Corner continues through June. This free annual concert series highlights artists from Nashville and more. The event takes place in Centennial Park at the corner of 27th Ave N & West End.
The lineup changes each day, so you can catch your favorites and also discover new-to-you artists.
Local food vendors are on-site during the events, and there is a pub area that serves drinks to those 21+.
Little ones can also attend, and enjoy the fun at Kidsville. We love bringing our toddler to the Kidsville at the Parthenon on Saturdays during the rest of the year, and there’s something for all ages of kids.
Nashville Sounds
2025 Event Dates: June 3 – 8, 17 – 22
The Nashville Sounds are the city’s Minor League Baseball team. Home games take place at First Horizon Park, which features a scoreboard that’s shaped like a guitar.
Tickets start at $17 Monday-Wednesday and $24 Thursday through Friday. Tickets are cheaper if you buy them in advance.
Nashville Pride Festival
2025 Event Dates: June 27 – 29
The Nashville Pride Festival kicks off with a concert event on Friday night. Then, the festival itself takes place on Saturday and Sunday featuring entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and other activities.
General admission costs $10 per day for the weekend event. Concert admission for Friday night begins at $39.
Movies in the Park

2025 Event Dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26
Each year the Nashville Scene hosts an outdoor movie series called Movies in the Park in Elmington Park. The free event is both family-friendly and dog-friendly. My family doesn’t always make it to the actual movie (because it starts after the little ones’ bedtimes), but we enjoy the games and the food trucks beforehand.
The films for this year are Inside Out 2 on June 5, The Sandlot on June 12, The Goonies on June 19, and Twisters on June 26.
Porter Flea Summer Market
2025 Event Dates: June 13 – 14
Combine finding one-of-a-kind items with supporting small businesses while shopping at the Porter Flea Summer Market. Hundreds of local and regional vendors participate at this event each year.
The Friday night Preview Market is open to those 21+ and takes place from 6 pm until 9 pm. Tickets cost $27.44. The market is open to everyone on Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm. Parking at the Nashville Fairgrounds costs $10 each day. The Fairgrounds parking only accepts cash.
Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman
2025 Event Dates: June 17, 24
Bluegrass fans will not want to miss Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman. The six-show series takes place on Tuesday nights beginning in June and ending in July.
The shows begin with a free showcase outside the Ryman called Pickin/ on the PNC Plaza. The Dan Tyminski Band plays on June 17 and the Kitchen Dwellers with Mountain Grass Unit play on June 24.
Ticket prices vary. You can also buy a pass to attend all six shows in the series.

Big Band Dances
2025 Event Dates: June 7, 14, 21, 28
Head to the Centennial Bandshell on Tuesday nights this summer for the free Big Band Dance Series. A swing dance lesson takes place at 7 pm with music and dancing beginning at 7:30 pm. The event is free.
Music is provided by different local bands each week, and food trucks are onsite as well.
Nightlight 615

2025 Event Dates: June 6, 20
Nightlight 615 is an outdoor movie series for 21+ that takes place May through October. The event includes a pre-movie DJ, a bar, and local food trucks. It’s one of my favorite events of the summer.
The movies being shown in June are Wedding Crashers on June 6 and Mean Girls on June 20. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance because the most popular movies sell out quickly!
Shows & Live Music
There is always music going on somewhere in the city. You can listen to live music at most of the bars in Downtown and other parts of Nashville.
I also recommend checking the lineup at different music venues around town including Nissan Stadium, Ascend Amphitheater, 5 Spot, Basement East, the Ryman, the Grand Ole Opry, and Bridgestone Arena.
With CMA Fest going on this month, you’ll find tons of shows happening June 5-8, but there are other concerts happening throughout the month as well.
