Best Things to Do in Nashville in November (Updated for 2025)
Nashville is a great place to be in November. The holiday crowds don’t typically arrive until later in the month. And, if we’re lucky we’ll have really cozy fall weather all month. (Although it does occasionally snow in November, but that’s pretty unexpected.)
There are a number of fun things to do in Nashville in November from festivals to holiday markets to sporting events.

November Events in Nashville
Turnip Green Festival
2025 Event Dates: November 1
Celebrate one of the South’s favorite side dishes with the Nashville Farmers’ Market at the 27th annual Turnip Green Festival. Highlights of the festival include music by the Nashville All Stars Band, plates of braised greens, Thanksgiving-themed vendor specials, Chef Tandy’s catfish, and much more. There’s also a Turnip Green Cook Off open for all ages to enter.
The event takes place from 10 am – 2 pm. There is no entrance fee, and parking is free.

Christmas at the Gaylord Opryland
2025 Event Dates: November 7 – January 3
Each year, the Gaylord Opryland hotel is completely transformed for the holidays. Inside are amazing displays, holiday treats for sale, and many family-friendly winter activities. Outside are more decorations and an ice-skating rink.
One of the most unique events during this season is an exhibit called ICE! This year’s theme is “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” and you’ll find scenes featuring the beloved characters that have been hand-carved from more than 2 million pounds of ice.
Prices for the different events vary. You can reserve tickets for most events in advance online. There is also a fee for parking. (However, you can park at the Opry Mills Mall for free and walk over. Just know that it’s a long walk!)

Music City Turkey Trot
2025 Event Dates: November 27
For some, getting a run in on the morning of Thanksgiving Day is a tradition. If you’re one of those people, the Music City Turkey Trot is for you.
This family-friendly event has both 5K and 1 mile options. The race begins at 8 am at the Titans Stadium.
Registration fees are $60 for the 5k and $40 for the 1 mile run. The Music City Turkey Trot helps support local charities.

Chrismas Village
2025 Event Dates: November 14-16
You don’t have to wait until Black Friday to begin your holiday shopping. The Christmas Village features hundreds of vendors selling everything from home decor to jewelry to food.
Tickets are $12 if you buy them in advance at FirstBank in Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford, and Wilson counties or $15 online. Entrance is free for children 9 and under.
The event is hosted by the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club and proceeds support The Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center of Hearing and Speech Science and its Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute and the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg.
Christmas Village takes place at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Parking is free for the event. Hours are 9 am – 9 pm on Friday, 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday, and 12 pm – 6 pm on Sunday.

Zoolumination
2025 Event Dates: Runs every night Nov. 13 – Jan. 4, runs Thur – Sun night Jan. 8 – Feb. 8
As the holiday season begins, the zoo lights up with the largest lantern festival in the USA.. Visitors can enjoy the colorful and bright designs
The lights are the main attraction at this afterhours event. However, a few animals are still up until 8:30 pm.
Admission is $25 for adults and teens, $21 for kids ages 2-12, and free for kids under 2. Buying tickets in advance is recommended. You can also add-on a ticket to the ice rink for $12. Discounts are available for zoo members, and a platinum pass is available for guests who want to visit multiple times
Nashville Predators
2025 Event Dates: November 1, 3, 6, 8, 22, 24, 29
The NHL season continues in November, and it’s a perfect time to watch the Nashville Predators play. The Predators play at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville.
Ticket prices vary. Weekday games are cheaper than weekend games.
Tennessee Titans
2025 Event Dates: November 2, 16, 23, 30
The regular NFL season is in full swing. The Titans have one bye week, but the rest of the month, the team has home games, so you’ve got lots of chances to see them in action.
You can catch the Tennessee Titans at home playing the Los Angeles Chargers on November 2, the Houston Texans on November 16, the Seattle Seahawks on November 23, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The game is at Nissan Stadium, which is an open-air stadium, so watch the weather forecasts to be prepared for rain or unusual temperatures.

Shows & Live Music
There is always music going on somewhere in the city. You can listen to live music at most of the bars in Downtown and other parts of Nashville.
I also recommend checking the lineup at different music venues around town including Nissan Stadium, Ascend Amphitheater, 5 Spot, Basement East, the Ryman, the Grand Ole Opry, and Bridgestone Arena.
A few bigger names that might be of interest (I’m very uncool and am just picking some artists I’ve heard of) are Maroon 5 at Bridgestone Arena on November 2, Sabrina Carpenter at Bridgestone Arena on November 4 & 5, Paul McCartney at the Pinnacle on November 6 Bryan Adams with Pat Benatar at Bridgestone Arena on November 7.
