GreenHouse Bar, a Tropical Getaway without Leaving Nashville
If you’re looking for the most beautiful place to grab a drink in Nashville, GreenHouse Bar is the answer. GreenHouse Bar is, in fact, a greenhouse filled with tropical plants, and besides being beautiful, it has amazing food.
The tranquil space in Green Hills is worth a visit any time of day from brunch till in the late hours of the night. I’ve visited several times and I will definitely keep going back.
Here’s what you should know if you’re debating a visit.
Inside GreenHouse Bar
As we’ve already established, GreenHouse Bar is a greenhouse, so keep that in mind when you decide to visit. It can get hot in the summer despite the cooling systems that are in place, and while it stays warm enough to keep the plants alive during winter, it might not be as toasty as some other bars.
The gorgeous interior alone would make the bar worth a visit. It’s hard to be upset while surrounded by more plants than I could possibly identify. But what keeps me coming back to GreenHouse Bar is the food.
The GreenHouse Bar is connected with The Food Company, a catering company that’s been a staple in Nashville since 1995. Every single dish that they make is perfect.
The menu is heavy on simple, but delicious foods like soups, sandwiches, and salads. The chicken salad with tarragon is one of the best that I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a lot of different chicken salad recipes!
We’ve done everything from celebrating my birthday here over drinks to meeting up with friends and their children for brunch.
The only tricky part is figuring out parking. There is some parking on the side of the building, but if you can’t get in there, you may have to park somewhere else and walk over. I’d say visiting the GreenHouse Bar is absolutely worth it, though!
