Pink Door Cookies – An Adorable Stop in Nashville

Last updated: 5/25/24

Pink Door Cookies is one of the cutest (and tiniest) spots to pick up a sweet treat in Nashville! The fun cookie shop with a sprinkle floor is located in Wedgewood-Houston.

I’m a huge fan of anything sweet, so obviously I had to give Pink Door Cookies a try.

Pink Door Cookies Beginnings

Pink Door Cookies was started in 2020 by pastry chef Matthew Rice. (He was also the winner of an episode of Chopped.)

Rice would leave the cookies outside his pink door for customers to pick up with no contact, which is how the store got its name.

The store in the bottom of Placemakr, an apartment/hotel in one of Nashville’s effortlessly cool neighborhoods, Wedgewood-Houston. It’s a small space with only room for 2, maybe 3 customers inside at a time.

You can also now find Pink Door Cookies in the Markethouse at the Nashville Farmers’ Market (which is already one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat in Nashville).

Pink Door Cookies Review

As soon as you walk into the pink-walled shop, you know you’re in for something good. Photos of the cookie selection are taped to the wall with washi tape. It’s basically straight out of a dream Pinterest board.

The cookies are bright and colorful with fun features like sprinkles and edible glitter. Some of the selections are swapped out seasonally (like the sprinkle-bombed Valentine’s cookie I got on my last visit).

The rainbow brownie and cotton candy cookie are consistent favorites. They also have a fried apple pie cookie for fall that sounds appealing, but I haven’t managed to try it yet.

The cookies at Pink Door are delicious. I would compare them to Crumbl Cookies except better because I can’t figure out how to recreate Pink Door Cookies at home.

My husband has commented that the cookies are too sweet for him. That isn’t a problem for me since that’s usually the reason I want a cookie anyway.

The prices are slightly higher than some other cookie shops in Nashville, but the cookies are so unique that it’s worth it for an occasional treat.

Pink Door Cookies is located at 321 Hart St Suite 309, Nashville, TN 37210. See the Pink Door Cookies website for hours and ordering information.
